Summary
The SS316 corresponding grades is 00Cr17Ni14Mo2 (China Structural Steel), with 2 ~ 3% added Mo for higher corrosion resistance and higher temperature strength. This SS316 is in official language most known as typical stainless steel.
The Stainless Steel has excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and excellent creep resistance. The original idea of the SS316 is to make it useable for many complex structures, for example parts for the food industries, machinery parts, marine equipment’s, small industrial components and other complex structures.
Due to the mode of construction and intelligent hierarchical mode, the iron-based alloy parts’s mutually-different can be solved by heat treatment, the SS316L's melting point is 1375-1450℃, normally treatment is generally carried out in a state of 1010-1150 ℃
