Use: Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia in neonatal piglets
Description: Gleptoferron is a parenteral iron preparation administered intramuscularly to piglets within the first 3–5 days of life. Newborn piglets have low iron reserves and receive insufficient iron from sow’s milk, making supplementation critical to prevent anemia, poor growth, and mortality.
