Water and Oil repellent for textile/fabric is achieved using different product groups, but oil repellency / repel oil is attained only with fluorocarbon polymers. Textile repellent are mainly provdied by C8/C6/C0 water repellent.

C8/6 fluorochemical

Fluoropolymers / Fluorocarbons based C8/C6 water repellent are known to introduce durable water and oil repellency (DWOR) and, provide repellency against oil- and water-based stains in many different applications including textiles, paper, nonwoven and leather.

Chevell completed this range with stain release agents to provide properties such as stain resistance, SR (stain release)properties, and releasing properties to textiles, leather. It can also easily remove stains from textiles during washing.

*All of our C6 fluorine water repellent grades are PFOS-free and PFOA-free C6-fluorinated polymers (PFOA detection limit: 5ppb).
